TERRA ENGINE AIR FILTER POLICY
Preventative maintenance by replacement — not cleaning.
Some OEM guidance, including certain Komatsu instructions, permits cleaning the outer element or servicing by restriction. Terra deliberately uses a more conservative policy: new engine air filters instead of cleaned or reused elements.
Override rule: where the manufacturer specifies a different fixed replacement interval for the exact machine, model or serial number, the verified OEM interval takes precedence.
